New Trim Work

Slowly but surely our house is coming together. It sometimes seems that our list of projects grows faster than we are able to check things off! When we bought our house we were left without trim in most of the house and with trim that did not match in our kitchen and bedroom. We were lucky to find someone who made and installed trim to match the original woodwork in the house. He also installed our front door and new patio doors off the back. We are so happy with how everything turned out. He has just a few finishing touches, then it's our turn to clean and paint!

7lbs, 7 oz, 20 in.

My first niece was born on Wednesday to my sister Carrie and her husband Nathaniel.  They live in Wichita, so I was the lucky aunt who lived close enough to go see her in the hospital! Isn't she beautiful?!?

Hail Storm

We had a crazy storm pass through Friday night as we were out at Grandma's house. The hail was in between golf ball and probably tennis ball size. Zach's truck got several dents and the front window was broken. There were two other car windows in the farm that had shattered windows. I've never seen hail like that before!
