Weekend Recap: GARTH BROOKS edition

 Happy Monday Friends! We had a great weekend, and are soaking up as much holiday fun as we can!   It's an exciting week at our house...Miss Aria turns ONE tomorrow and we have her party planned for Saturday! 

Aria seems to be hungry and ready for a snack the minute she wakes up!  Her newest demand is to have something to hold in each hand while she eats.

Lyle was pretty pumped about their matching Christmas jammies...he refused to take them off all day.  I don't blame him.  When Zach saw them he asked if I had bought matching ones for us too.  I sheepishly had to tell him....well not that match this set....  HAHA. 

Saturday night we got to go to the Garth Brooks concert in Wichita.  Zach and I went to Kansas City to see him eight years ago, and it was the best concert I have ever been to.  When he announced that he was going to start touring again, I knew that we had to go!  These pictures are from that first concert.  We had been dating for about three months.

 It was such an awesome show, and I still hold it to the standard of best concert I've ever been to!  He sings all the old favorites and looks like he is having an absolute blast up there.  The crowd sings along with everything and the whole atmosphere is great.  We decided to use this as our Christmas present to each other (instead of getting gifts) and I think it was perfect!

 

Sunday was spent at church, naps for the kids, a movie for the grown-ups, completing projects, and baking brownies.  Lyle are Aria are obsessed with our singing decorations....
